A10: Firearms & FFL Transfers
How do I purchase a firearm online?
All firearms MUST be shipped to a licensed Federal Firearms License (FFL) dealer for legal transfer. We cannot ship firearms directly to individuals.
The process: 1) Place your order, 2) Select or provide your FFL dealer, 3) We ship to the FFL, 4) You complete the transfer at the FFL (background check, paperwork, their fees).
Use our FFL Locator to find dealers in your area.
What are my responsibilities when using an FFL?
YOU are responsible for:
Contacting the FFL BEFORE placing your order to confirm they accept online transfers
Understanding and paying the FFL's transfer fees (these vary by dealer)
Completing all required paperwork and background checks at the FFL
Ensuring you are legally eligible to purchase firearms in your state
If the FFL refuses the transfer or cannot complete it for any reason, you are responsible for any additional shipping costs.
What happens if my background check is denied?
Background checks are handled entirely by your FFL dealer - we are not involved in this process.
If your background check is denied, you must work directly with the FFL. They will inform you of your options.
Firearm sales are FINAL SALE once transferred. If a transfer cannot be completed for any reason, the firearm remains with the FFL or is returned to us.
Can I return a firearm?
ALL FIREARM SALES ARE FINAL once transferred through an FFL dealer.
No returns, no refunds, no exchanges after transfer - for any reason.
This applies whether you changed your mind, ordered the wrong item, or any other reason.
Manufacturing defects must be handled through the manufacturer's warranty.
